No Worries-

There really is something new to learn each day.
Sometimes we need a little help.
I sought help once and learned that I am good enough, I am worth enough, I am enough.... no worries....
Today, my verses come from Matthew 6: 25-34
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, or what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For your heavenly Father knows what you need. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

I hope to lean on someone, ask someone for help, rest and not worry this year.
I can rest in Him, He is enough. Carol

What an awesome way to begin the new year!!! 'No Worries-' I love it!

What's interesting is that I was just talking to my 5 year old just today about this very verse. For Christmas she got a birdhouse craft to paint, glue, nail, and hang. Her and her friend painted it, but we just hung it outdoors (well more like nailed it) to a big tree in the backyard this evening. That's when we discussed this scripture here.

Funny, how you write this and I talked about this....are you spying on me Carol??? LOL :D
Just Kidding!

Anywho, love your post and of course your music.

Here's the birdhouse from my kids blog. (I just recently created a blog solely for them so I can journalize their events.) I don't want to forget anything, ya know?

I was just talking to my husband about worrying yesterday. I believe God does take care of it all and worrying is usually about things we cannot control. My favorite bible verse is "The Lord is my shepherd, nothing shall I want..." Because in giving it up and trusting in the Lord, life becomes much more easier to take.
Peace and Blessings...

Amen to no worries. God loves our faith not our fear!

Why is it that we are so afraid to ask for help? Thank you for your honesty and I pray that in your quest to ask for help that you are constantly affirmed of who you in Christ; that you are loved unconditionally; and that you are blessed when you ask.

My lovely sister,
I receive something called God's Notes every day. The words are so encouraging and so often pointed right at me. I now share God's Notes with you today. If you or anyone you know would like to be added to the daily notes, please let me know.

When things are tight, and you are stretched thin, remember where you are and where you began. You will see My hand upon you through all the trials of life. You should remember the desert times, and how I brought you through. How I made a way where there seemed no way, and opened doors that you saw as shut tight. Remember how I gave you favor when all was against you? Remember the good times and rejoice that the good times always follow the trials. Trials are preparation training. Rejoice that you are worthy to be tried. There is nothing like a good praise session to lift a heavy load off of one’s back.
Love, Dad

Be Blessed! Love, Susie
