"While you and I wait, can we remember God's assurance? He says: Do not give up."
Saturday, we believed Emily was not with us, broken, damaged, in a state of confusion and pain.
"Lord, Quiet my soul."
The troops were rallied. Prayers were uttered. Churches around the community prayed to a loving Father. He hears. He heals.
He said, "Be still and know that I am God." -- Psalm 46:10
The diagnosis was made. The pain was handled. Medication was dispensed. There will be no lasting effects of her attack.
Emily will run and play and hug and kiss!
"Lord God, you tell us: Be still."
Emily is on the way home, Monday at noon.
"And we wait for you."
God is good....all the time.
WORDS IN BOLD PRINT: taken from my friend Jennifer at http://gettingdownwithjesus.blogspot.com/ as she teaches: "Why we don't give up"
Thanks, Jennifer. Love you! Just the right words today!
