Marilyn

If someone listens, or stretches out a hand, or whispers a kind word of encouragement, or attempts to understand, extraordinary things begin to happen. -Loretta Girzartis

Make one person happy each day, and in 40 years, you will have made 14,600 human beings happy for a little time at least. -Marley Willey

Encourage one another. Many times a word of praise or thanks or appreciation or cheer has kept people on their feet. -Charles Swindoll

Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend, Marilyn. I think I have told her this before, but once upon a time, I was quite intimidated by Marilyn. Her sweet personality, her beauty, her youth....all seemed too good to be true. What I have discovered over the years is that, all of those wonderful traits are real and true, and through and through. She is kind and sweet AND beautiful. The years have been kind to her, and she to me.

My friend picked me up when I was down, made me laugh through my tears and held me close when there was nothing else to do. -Lisa Willow

She was right there beside me holding me up when I could barely stand, encouraging and teaching and helping. Thanks for believing in me always!

So, my friend, "Wear your red dress...use your good dishes...make a big mess and make lots of wishes. Have what you want and want what you have, and don't spend your life looking back. It's not who you knew...it's not what you did...it's how you lived"!

All that you do is bound to come back to you! Thanks for all you do for me!

Happy birthday, sweet sista'! Love you forever!

Thanks for the reminder of what good friends mean to us. Thinking about it always makes me grateful for my closest friends, and inspires me to want to be supportive to others as well.
