Prayers for Stephanie

http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/stephaniebyrne

A high school friend is battling breast cancer. She has had one surgery and after some further testing, it was decided that she should undergo another surgery to remove more lymph nodes. She has the most beautiful positive attitude and she continues to keep her eyes on Jesus to see her through all of this. I am asking for more prayers, and if you could, visit her caring bridge and drop her a note of encourangement. She loves her guestbook entries and reads every single one and takes each one to heart. The following is just one day written in her CB journal. You can see where her heart lies!!!

It was a wonderful day @ church. So many hugs and much encouragement. This was the closing song by the choir.

'My Life Is In Your Hands'

You don't have to worry
And don't you be afraid
Joy comes in the morning
Troubles they don't last always
For there's a friend in Jesus
Who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken
Just lift your hands and say

I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

With Jesus I can take it
With Him I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

So when your tests and trials
They seem to get you down
And all your friends and loved ones
Are nowhere to be found
Remember there's a friend in Jesus
Who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken
Just lift your hands and say

I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

With Jesus I can take it
With Him I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

One more quick story..
A very dear lady @ church, who is on the prayer team, had talked with me before my first surgery. She was concerned that I get a second opinion on the lymph nodes.(she had been thru all this herself).
I saw her last night and her eyes welled up with tears, she hugged me, then she said ' I prayed for you, that not even one tiny cancer cell would be hid from eye of the pathologist, God sees every single cell and I ask Him to reveal even the littlest hint of cancer.' 'when I heard your report of a tiny bit of cancer in the node lining I knew God had answered my prayer and you will be alright.' I got chills when she told me this. What a Awesome God I serve and I want Him to be honored in all of this.

Surgery in the morning.

Love you!!
Stephanie
